About Us The Zebra Finch Society of Australia Inc., (affiliated with the
Canary and Cage Bird Federation of Australia), is for those people interested in
keeping and showing Zebra Finches.
Most People start with keeping the common Grey Zebra Finch,
which if given the right conditions, will breed all year round. However today
there are over forty different combinations and colours that can be produced.
Through years of development and discussion, The Zebra Finch Society of
Australia Inc., has defined these combinations into the six main categories
of......... Normal, Dilute, Pied, Blackface, Grizzle, Blackfronted. The society has produced a show schedule which helps the Zebra
Finch breeder distinguish between the different Zebra Finch varieties and
colours.
